                                                (b) simple directions to places in the school
 Objective                              :  By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen and  
                                                   follow simple directions to places in the school.  
Teaching Aids                      :  picture cards, dice, jazz chant.

Reflection :  The objective of the lesson was achieved as 30/32 pupils were able to listen and
                    follow  simple directions to places in the school. More drilling and remedial          activities will be given to the 2 pupils.

Content Standard            :  2.1  Pupils will be able to apply knowledge of sounds of
                                                         letters to recognize words in text.
Learning Standard          :  2.1.1  Able to recognize and articulate initial, medial and
                                                            the final sounds ( phonemes ) in single syllable words
                                                            within given context : a) ‘igh’                                  
Objective                            :  By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to recognize  
                                                  and read words with the sound ‘igh’.                 
Teaching  Aids                      :  Chart, word cards, Word Spinner Game.
